Point Source Units - IS

Big Dipper Point Source Grease Removal Units:
Units in the 20-30 GPM (1.26-3.15 l/s) range typically service a single fixture such as a pot sink or pre-rinse station and are installed as close as possible to the device being serviced.

Multiple Source Units - AST

Centralized Grease Removal Units:
These units are suited for high-flow applications and those applications where multiple fixtures are being serviced. Units in the 50 to 150 GPM (3.15-8.46 I/s) range are also frequently necessary for basement or locations where significant head pressure is present.

Multiple Source Units - Metric AST-E

The AST has no solids strainer basket to empty. Incidental solids are pumped out of the solids retention chamber and directed to the drain.

  • The AST system can operate for extended periods of time unattended

  • The removed grease has the same pure, recyclable quality provided by the Big Dipper's IS (Internal Strainer) series
